Pecha Kucha Response

In my Pecha Kucha presentation, my person talked about him being an entrepreneur. Today he is a very successful business person, but that’s not how he always used to be. In the beginning of his presentation he talked about how he built small houses out of wood and ran away from them because that wasn’t considered ‘art’. Now he’s as successful as anyone else.

This presenter did a lot of things well. The one thing that I think made his presentation alive and not bring was the fact that he connected with the audience. By either making jokes, or just showing his personality through speech, it was easy to stay   tuned and keep the watcher interested.

Although the presenter had a lot of high points and interesting detail, there was one thing that was kind of annoying through his whole presentation. He was a fast talker. It wasn’t the type of talking that comes with a person and is just normal, he seemed to talk fast because he hadn’t planned it out to well to where it was facts and key points. It was mostly a bunch of talking and a few key points. Which I think would be fine in any other kind of presentation besides this one because of that fact that it’s timed.

Lastly, I thought the presentation wasn’t the best, preparation wise. However, the presenter was well enough at improve it seemed that he just coasted though somewhat alright. Pecha Kucha is my new favorite type of presenting. I look forward to using this for other projects, other than this one. I think I’ll be able to fill in my 10 slides easily, I just hope that I don’t run out of things to talk about.
